SUMMER CAMP RAIN POLICY
Light Rain During Camp
We do our best to avoid canceling or ending camp early due to rain. Most summer showers are quick, and the courts dry fast with the heat. If it rains during camp, we’ll use the gazebo for footwork and strength training until we can get back on court.
Rain Before Camp Starts
If it’s been raining all morning and still raining at the start of camp, we’ll notify parents at least one hour in advance to delay the start. We may extend the session later that day to make up the time.
Full-Day Rainout
In rare cases where we must cancel a full day, we’ll spread out the missed time (4.5 hours) over the rest of the week—likely ending camp at 3:00–3:30 PM those days.
Multiple Rainouts or Make-Up Conflicts
If multiple days are rained out or we can’t stay later to make up time, we’ll offer campers the chance to attend a full day on another week using a credit for missed hours.
